Role & responsibilities
1. Strong experience in Database Administration in SQL Server (2005, 2008, 2012 & 2014)
2. DB Installations / Configuration / Upgrades / Patching experience
3. Good understanding of Microsoft operating systems as needed to manage SQL Server Databases
4. DB Capacity Management
5. Security Management
6. DB High Availability Management
7. Backup and Recovery Management
8. Daily, Weekly and Monthly DB maintenance activity knowledge.
9. DB Health Checks / Report Analysis
10. Willing to work in 24X7 rotational shifts
11. ITIL knowledge (SR, Problem Management/Incident Management/Chain Management etc.)
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAdditional knowledge on Oracle will be added advantage
