We are seeking a ML Engineer / Data Scientist to join our AIML Team. please find the JD below,
Job Description :
Experience : 4 - 10Yrs
Location : Bangalore
Notice :Immediate - 20Days
Mode of Work : Hybrid
Role Overview :
Good hands on experience in data science and machine learning. The ideal candidate demonstrates analytical rigor, domain awareness, and the ability to work with large-scale data environments under guidance of senior practitioners.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Requirements -
- Strong experience in Classical Machine Learning:
- Logistic Regression, Linear Regression
- Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost
- Statistical modeling techniques
- Hands-on experience in Credit Risk Modeling ; Strong knowledge of PD / LGD / EAD models
- Experience with Python (Scikit-learn, Statsmodels) or SAS
- Strong SQL and data handling skills
- Hands-on experience in Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Experience in model deployment (APIs, batch pipelines, or real-time scoring)
Distributed Data Processing:
- Practical exposure to Apache Spark using PySpark or SparkR
- Experience querying and processing large datasets in distributed environments such as Databricks, AWS EMR, or equivalent platforms
- Familiarity with SQL at scale including Spark SQL or Hive
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Exposure to version control (Git) and collaborative development practices
- Awareness of data lakehouse architectures and partitioned data strategies
