The Lead Analyst will take ownership of the technical and functional aspects of Workday Financials and Adaptive Insights. The ideal candidate will serve as a hands-on technical contributor, leading the design, implementation of complex solutions in Workday Financials & Adaptive. The candidate will mentor junior team members and review deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy of work.
Essential Functions
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of Workday Financials & Adaptive Planning. These Include, but not limited to -- functional setup, business process workflows, reports, integrations and Adaptive models.
- Review and approve deliverables from the team, ensuring high-quality with, adherence to timelines and compliance with best practices.
- Provide advanced support for complex and critical issues and provide guidance for system enhancements.
- Be the expert on specific areas within Workday Financials & Adaptive and proactively collaborate with Finance teams to discover pain points and resolve them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement system enhancements, process improvements, and integrations between Workday Financials/Adaptive and other enterprise systems.
- Drive process improvement, optimization, and automation initiatives within the Workday Financials/Adaptive platform.
- Lead testing and deployment of Workday Releases, new feature analysis while ensuring minimal business description.
- Act as an Adaptive Planning subject matter expert, defining best practices, design standards, and governance. Has experience in implementing Adaptive Workforce planning.
- Actively manage the Agile development process: groom backlog, sprint planning meetings, daily standups and retrospectives. in line with industry best practices i.e. reviews, testing and migration.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of total experience in Workday Financials or comparable ERP platforms.
- 5+ years of techno-functional experience in Workday Financials.
- Advanced reporting and integration experience Workday & Adaptive.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis skills.
- Deep knowledge and hands on experience in Workday Financials modules (GL, A
- P, AR, Procurement etc.).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working knowledge of Jira.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and basic project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work until 2 pm EST /11:30 pm IST
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday Financials or other relevant certifications.
- Experience on Workday Studio integrations.
- Proven ability to mentor junior team members.
Preferred Education
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering or Computer Applications.
Preferred Certifications
- Workday Financials certification
