Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Lead Database RAC Consultant with over 10 years of experience in the IT BFSI domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and optimizing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) in high-demand environments, leading teams, and driving database strategies that enhance performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle RAC databases in a mission-critical environment.
- Oversee database performance tuning, backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Manage and mentor a team of database administrators, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development and performance optimization.
- Develop and enforce best practices for database security, monitoring, and compliance within the BFSI sector.
- Conduct capacity planning and forecasting to ensure database scalability and performance.
- Engage in disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle RAC database administration, in the BFSI domain.
- Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database architecture.
- Proven leadership experience in managing database teams and projects.
