Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide primary production support for a critical P1 application, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance
• Actively monitor system health, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents and outages with a focus on minimizing downtime
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and DataDog to analyze logs, metrics, and traces for proactive issue detection and resolution
• Collaborate with development teams to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes promptly
• Maintain and enhance the application using strong development skills in technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch
• Design, develop, and deploy automation scripts and tools to streamline support processes and improve operational efficiency
• Manage and optimize containerized environments using Kubernetes, ensuring scalable and resilient deployment architectures
• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to support cloud-based deployment and infrastructure management
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support for critical production issues
• Document support procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and incident reports for knowledge sharing and future reference
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to continually improve application support and stability

Qualifications - External

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in production support and application development
• Hands on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch
• Cloud platform experience, including deployment and infrastructure management
• Experience working in high-pressure environments supporting critical applications
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Proven well-versed in using monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and DataDog
• Proven excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proven effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and documenting procedures
