As a core member of our Global QA team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, creation, and execution of automated tests required to validate the quality of applications under test using agile methodology. While test automation is the primary focus of this role, the candidate may be assigned to perform manual testing activities based on project needs.

As a QA Analyst, your role includes working closely with multiple stakeholders to define suitable testing strategies based on the characteristics of individual projects. The candidate is expected to drive automation coverage while maintaining flexibility to contribute to manual testing efforts when required.

As a QA Analyst, Your Responsibilities Include

• Design, creation, maintenance, optimization, and execution of automated test scripts that are scalable, highly performant, maintainable, and meet high-quality standards
• Drive and expand automation test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the team's established automation frameworks and tools
• Collaborate with the automation and performance testing team to identify and prioritize suitable test cases for automation
• Perform manual testing activities when assigned based on project and business needs, including functional, regression, and UAT
• Work with the automation and performance testing team to identify and propose appropriate test cases for automation prioritization
• Participate in agile testing ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices
• Conduct peer reviews of both automated and manual test scripts to ensure adherence to testing standards
• Produce individual QA status reports and support the full defect management lifecycle
• Accurately log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
• Work closely with Business Analysts, business stakeholders, Development, Project Management, and QA teams
• Communicate and report on assigned tasks to the QA Lead/Manager and PM
• Take responsibility and exhibit ownership of assigned tasks
  
  

Qualifications

About You:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline
• At least 1–2 years' experience in an agile testing specific role
• 3+ years' experience in an automation testing or development specific role
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, or similar)
• Solid understanding of manual testing fundamentals with the ability to perform functional testing when required
• Strong background in QA processes, the Software Development Lifecycle and methodologies
• Experience with the following tools: JIRA, Xray, Confluence
• Able to set priorities and be flexible with a high degree of accuracy
• Display critical, quality-orientated, skeptical thinking about the product
• Proactive, willing to accept responsibility with minimal handholding
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English
• Ability to work in fast-paced, complex Business & IT environments
• Positive and solution-oriented with team members and stakeholders
• Respond to change quickly, including adapting and improving test approaches as project needs evolve
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks with urgency
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment, independently or as part of a team
• Accurately evaluate and report test results, test progress, and product quality
• ISTQB Foundation Software Certification is a distinct advantage
