The role:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Specialist, HR Shared Services to join our team in India. This role is critical in providing prompt, accurate, and consistent HR support to our employees. The ideal candidate will primarily manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires and efficiently resolve employee inquiries through our ticketing system.
Key Responsibilities

Employee Onboarding Management

Manage the complete pre-boarding and onboarding lifecycle for new employees in India.

Ensure timely collection, verification, and processing of all required new hire documentation (e.g. identity proof, education certificates, background check forms).

Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. IT, Payroll, Facilities) to ensure a seamless Day 1 experience, including system access, equipment setup, and workspace readiness.

Conduct HR-related induction and orientation sessions, explaining company policies, benefits, and HR processes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).

HR Ticket Handling and Query Resolution

Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, managers, and external partners via the HR Shared Services ticketing system.

Efficiently manage and resolve a high volume of tickets related to various HR topics, including policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), benefits, and data changes.

Ensure all tickets are logged, categorized, tracked, and resolved within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Escalate complex or specialized issues to the appropriate HR Centers of Excellence (CoE) or other departments, ensuring a smooth handoff and follow-up.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the knowledge base by documenting resolutions and frequently asked questions (FAQs).

Compliance and Audit Support

Ensure strict compliance with all local Indian labor laws and company policies during the onboarding and record-keeping processes.

Support internal and external HR audits by providing necessary documentation and data.
What you ll bring:

3 4 years of experience in an HR role, with a focus on onboarding and compliance in large employee organizations (at least 3000 employees)

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

Strong knowledge of statutory labor laws and regulations.

Proficient in HRIS and other relevant software.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:

Masters degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
