The role is meant to serve majorly 3 categories of customers - The groups members and patrons, Board and Leadership, and Sales & BD functions that require intense travel - both inter- and intra-Continent.Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and elevate full travel operations infrastructure, including IATA accreditation, BSP processes, and GDS integration
  • Lead airline contracting, commercial negotiations, and net fare agreements
  • Build and manage relationships with DMCs, ground operators, visa partners, and hotel suppliers
  • Design and deliver high-quality, customised travel itineraries for a premium customer base
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a lean, high-performing travel operations team
  • Define operational processes, SLAs, controls, and service standards
  • Work closely with internal technology and customer experience teams to embed travel services
  • Own P&L performance, including margins, volumes, and growth targets
  • Curate viable and experience-centric itineraries for all 3 segments of stakeholders.

Note: This role requires someone who has travelled the world or has an understanding of how travel itineraries impacts business decisions, perceptions and operational fatigue for stakeholders. This is NOT a travel desk role.

An ideal candidate will come with 10-15 years of experience in OTAs, Internal Travel Desks of Large Organisations or related industries/functions.

  • Strong hands-on experience with GDS platforms (Amadeus and/or Sabre)
  • Solid exposure to IATA/BSP frameworks and airline commercial contracting
  • Exposure to luxury, bespoke or member-based travel models
  • Understanding of cultural, operational and trend-related aspects of other countries including airport connections, terminal change risks etc
