Role Overview

The General Manager Talent Acquisition will lead end-to-end recruitment for the organization, ensuring the attraction, hiring, and retention of top talent across plant operations, technical roles, and corporate functions.


Key Responsibilities


1. Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning

  • Develop long-term hiring strategies aligned with business goals (e.g., plant expansion, automation)
  • Forecast manpower requirements across levels
  • Partner with business heads and plant leadership

2. Recruitment Leadership

  • Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle (sourcing to onboarding)
  • Manage bulk hiring for shop-floor roles and niche hiring for technical positions
  • Ensure timely closure of critical roles

3. Sourcing & Employer Branding

  • Build strong talent pipelines through multiple channels
  • Drive employer branding initiatives
  • Collaborate with technical institutes and ITIs

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage recruitment agencies and staffing partners
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders

5. Technology & Process Optimization

  • Implement ATS and HR tech tools
  • Track and improve hiring metrics (time to hire, cost per hire, quality of hire)
  • Streamline recruitment processes

6. Compliance & Diversity Hiring

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies
  • Promote diversity and inclusive hiring practices

7. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the Talent Acquisition team
  • Define KPIs and monitor performance
