About the Role: We’re looking for a seasoned frontend leader who goes beyond coding—someone who can architect, scale, and optimize complex web applications, while mentoring teams and driving engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect scalable, maintainable frontend systems for complex web applications
• Define application structure, module boundaries, and reusable component strategies
• Drive decisions on rendering models (SSR, SSG, ISR, CSR), styling architecture, and state management
• Build and maintain production-grade applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• Design and evolve component libraries and enterprise-grade design systems
• Lead code reviews with focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Implement real-time capabilities using WebSockets, SSE, or similar technologies
• Own frontend performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, bundle size, rendering efficiency)
• Ensure secure frontend practices (XSS, CSRF, authentication flows, CSP)
• Mentor engineers and contribute to frontend standards, best practices, and architecture governance
• Collaborate with backend, DevOps, and product teams in Agile environments
Technical Skills:
• Expert in React.js, Next.js (SSR/SSG/ISR), and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of frontend architecture patterns and system design
• Advanced experience in state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query, etc.)
• Deep understanding of styling systems (CSS Modules, Tailwind, Styled Components, SCSS)
• Experience with real-time technologies (WebSockets, SSE)
• Strong expertise in performance optimization (code splitting, lazy loading, memoization, Web Vitals)
• Knowledge of frontend security practices (XSS, CSRF, OAuth2/JWT)
• Experience with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Turbopack) and testing frameworks (Jest, RTL, Cypress/Playwright)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, CDN, caching, and monitoring tools
Required Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of experience in frontend/web development
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Next.js in production environments
• Proven experience leading frontend architecture for large-scale applications
• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and cross-functional environments
