The Role
This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting within the UAE/Middle East region. The individual will contribute to strong accounting governance, reliable financial operations, and smooth audit cycles. They will have the opportunity to influence end-to-end accounting processes and support key decision-making through high-quality management reports.
What You'll Own
- You will prepare, review, and maintain comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, profit loss accounts, and other management reports - ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with UAE/Middle East accounting standards and IFRS.
- You will utilize multiple ERP systems such as Oracle and Tally to enhance reconciliation accuracy, generate timely management-oriented reports, and support informed decision-making across finance operations.
- You will ensure timely execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings in alignment with IFRS recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure requirements.
- You will oversee end-to-end corporate accounting activities, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- You will manage day-to-day financial operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, bank administration, and expense monitoring.
- You will track timely settlement of indirect tax payments, support tax return filings, maintain supporting agreements/evidence, and ensure smooth reviews and compliance.
- You will support statutory audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
