Job Description
Amneal Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. (AHCPL) is on a high-growth trajectory in India and Emerging Markets, with a strong focus on specialty therapies including Oncology, CNS, Rare Diseases, and Biologics.
This role is critical in unlocking institutional and access-driven growth, given that a significant portion of current revenues is driven through in-licensed products. The incumbent will lead the development of access strategies, institutional business expansion, and launch excellence, while building capabilities for long-term sustainable growth.
Essential Functions: 1. Market Access Strategy & Pricing
- Lead the development and execution of market access strategies across Oncology, CNS, and Rare Disease portfolios
- Design and implement pricing strategies aligned with regulatory frameworks (CDSCO, NPPA)
- Develop compelling value propositions for HCPs, corporate hospitals, and government institutions
- Drive reimbursement strategies and patient access programs
2. Key Account & Institutional Business Leadership
- Build and lead the Key Account Management (KAM) and institutional sales teams
- Drive institutional sales strategy and ensure achievement of revenue targets
- Establish strong relationships with corporate hospitals, government bodies, and key stakeholders
- Optimize team structure and coverage model in alignment with business goals
3. Portfolio & Launch Strategy
- Collaborate with BD & Strategy teams to identify and prioritize portfolio opportunities
- Lead end-to-end product launch planning and execution (in-licensed and in-house assets)
- Ensure successful GTM strategies and rapid uptake in institutional channels
4. Biologics & Specialty Business Build
- Develop and execute biologics business strategy from inception
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales teams
- Drive portfolio selection, commercialization strategy, and P&L ownership
- Build and scale high-performing teams for specialty and biologics segments
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic inputs to leadership on business expansion and market dynamics
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and ethical standards
- Drive innovation in access models, partnerships, and patient support programs
- Monitor competitive landscape and adapt strategies accordingly
- Represent Amneal in key industry forums and stakeholder engagements
Qualifications
Education:
- MBA or equivalent master’s degree
- Strong academic background in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Medicine preferred
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in Pharma Sales & Marketing
- Strong exposure to Market Access, Institutional Business, and Key Account Management
- Experience in Oncology, CNS, Rare Diseases, or Specialty therapies preferred
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering business growth
- Experience in product launches and cross-functional leadership roles
