Job Title: Engineer Process Engineering Department
Location: TRMN Dabaspete.
Department: Production Engineering / Process Engineering
Reporting To: Assistant Manager / Manager / Divisional Head
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Production Engineering activities for Electronics Assembly, SAS, ESHL, and Immobi lines.
- Attend to daily process-related issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Initiate and implement corrective & preventive actions for in-process defects, machine issues, and safety concerns.
- Ensure timely execution of periodic activities such as Process Capability Studies, Gauge R&R, and MSA Studies.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation like QC Process Charts, PFMEA, Process Flow Diagrams, Standard Manhour Charts, Layouts, and Examination Sheets.
- Ensure timely implementation of Engineering Change Instructions (ECI).
- Prepare schedules and monitor timely execution for new project implementations.
- Draft equipment specifications for new machines or modifications to existing machines.
- Plan and execute Safety Promise actions.
- Coordinate and follow up with suppliers for equipment development.
- Identify, develop, and align suppliers with TRMN requirements.
- Conduct equipment inspections and machine capability studies at supplier locations.
- Plan and execute monthly GORIKA activities.
- Manage quotations, PR raising, and follow-up for material procurement as per PE requirements.
- Conduct Pp/Ppk studies for new layout trials.
- Prepare drawings for modification of jigs and fixtures.
- Provide documentation for line handover to maintenance, including critical spares list and periodic check sheets.
- Ensure production teams are well-trained on new products and assembly lines.
- Facilitate smooth coordination between maintenance and production for seamless operations.
- Prepare ISO/EMS documents in line with company standards.
- Develop problem and countermeasure sheets and ensure timely action and closure.
- Study and improve process constraints and productivity issues; plan countermeasures.
- Engage in self-skill development on SMT machines and process operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements and Kaizen activities.
- Audit and ensure stock-taking activities are performed accurately.
- Prepare facilities like racks, chutes, etc., for new product development.
- Execute any additional tasks assigned by Assistant Manager / Manager / Divisional Head.
- Prepare equipment installation reports and ensure timely GRN closure.
- Preferred from Seat Belt manufacturing companies
