Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants should not have been enrolled in any prior Government Apprenticeship programs.
  • Applicants must have their Aadhaar number linked to their active mobile number and have a personal email ID. This is a mandatory requirement for registration and verification.

Please Note

  • This is a hybrid role, which requires regular in-person work at a Google Operations Center office. Relocation is not supported during the apprenticeship. We are looking for candidates who are committed to successfully completing the entire program in a hybrid capacity.

The Google Operations Center Digital Business Marketing Apprenticeship is a program of at least 12 months offering learning and development to individuals looking to start a career in Digital Business Marketing. This apprenticeship is intended for candidates who have completed their university degree and are looking to kick start their career in the field of Digital Business Marketing.

While at Google Operations Center, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of GOCers to solve real life problems while developing and learning from world-class leaders, an external training partner will also support you during the program. Selected applicants will be matched to a team within GOC.

Apprenticeships are not a full-time permanent opportunity, the program is 12 months in duration. While the program is open to those who are interested in Digital Marketing careers, recent graduates and individuals with work experience in other industries may apply.

This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship and is only open to Indian citizens.

Application Instructions

Applicants must include both a resume and a cover letter with their application, clearly calling out their year of graduation. Cover letters should be concise (maximum of 1 page or 300 words ) describing why they would like to join the program, why they are a good fit and how they feel it will help them develop in their careers, highlighting their achievements and aspirations.

The whole process will spread across 6 to 8 weeks, kindly be patient during the same.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop your knowledge on digital ad platforms, online campaigns and troubleshooting for ad accounts. Partner with teams to drive product and partnership solutions.
  • Learn business development by addressing leads from new and existing clients, and act as an account coordinator and facilitator.
  • Learn to analyze data and derive insights to identify opportunities for clients and agencies
  • Develop your knowledge of existing and emerging advertising products, and how users and clients may interact with them.
  • Develop knowledge on applying AI based solutions for digital advertising and to enhance productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • No more than 1 year of experience relevant to Digital Business Marketing
  • Knowledge of working with computers, e.g Excel, Gmail, Word
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and self motivate
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to think critically, assess a situation and suggest relevant solutions
  • Good time management skills
  • Previous work experience in any industry would be an advantage e.g Sales/Business Development, Digital Advertising Agency, Customer Service etc.
  • Experience with Excel or similar software would be an advantage
