About the role:
As a DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities:
- Managing AWS cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of resources
- Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate resource management
- Designing and implementing resource tagging strategies to enable cost attribution and governance
- Collab orating with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud resources are optimized for performance, security, and cost
- Monitoring and analyzing cloud spend, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and implementing FinOps best practices
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards for cloud resource management
- Focus on security best practices in cloud environments, including access control, encryption, and network security
Requirements:
- AWS Cloud experience, including hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, EKS, MSK, and IAM
- Kubernetes experience, including hands-on experience with EKS
- Observability awareness, including experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch/Prometheus/Datadog
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, and experience in writing and maintaining Terraform configurations
- Knowledge and experience with Kafka (AWS MSK)
- Strong understanding of cloud cost management and FinOps principles, with experience in implementing cost-saving strategies
- On-call experience, including incident response and troubleshooting in a cloud environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with remote teams and stakeholders
- CI/CD automation experience for Typescript, Kotlin and Ruby programming languages
- Compliance regulation awareness (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc. ) and experience in implementing best practices and measurements in cloud environments
