Job Summary:
The DGM IT will be responsible for end-to-end management of the IndiaAI Compute Portal and associated AI compute infrastructure under the Compute Pillar. The role includes overseeing compute allocation, post-allocation support, user issue resolution, and ensuring seamless access to GPU resources. The position will also play a key role in the development of Indias sovereign AI stack and support data center and cloud infrastructure initiatives.
Role & responsibilities
Compute Portal Management: Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the IndiaAI Compute Portal, including design, development coordination, deployment, and continuous improvement
Compute Allocation & Operations: Oversee allocation of GPU resources to startups, academia, and government users; ensure transparency, efficiency, and policy compliance
Post-Allocation Support: Monitor utilization, manage user onboarding, and ensure effective usage of allocated compute resources
User Support & Issue Resolution: Act as the nodal point for user queries, technical issues, and grievance redressal; ensure timely resolution through coordination with CSPs/OEMs
Infrastructure Integration: Coordinate with CSPs, OEMs, and NIC/other partners for integration of cloud and on-premise compute infrastructure
Sovereign AI Stack Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of Indias sovereign AI stack, including platforms, APIs, and access frameworks
Data Center & IT Systems: Support planning and operations of data center infrastructure, including GPU clusters, networking, storage, and security systems
Security & Compliance: Ensure adherence to GoI security standards, data protection norms, and access control mechanisms
Technical Inputs: Provide inputs for RFP/RFE, technical evaluations, and onboarding of infrastructure and platform partners
Monitoring & Reporting: Track portal performance, compute utilization, SLAs, and user satisfaction; prepare reports for leadership

B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / Electronics or related field from a UGC/AICTErecognized University/Institution.
