Job Description
Oversee the financial performance of large CAPEX projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and company policies.
Support project teams by providing financial insights and recommendations for decision-making.
Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless project execution.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Commercial Project Manager should have:
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a solid understanding of financial principles.
Minimum 10 years of post-qualification work experience in a relevant role.
Experience in managing financial aspects of projects within the manufacturing Industry or a related field.
Has dealt with large greenfield CAPEX projects managing costs, budgets, regulatory compliances and cross functional collaboration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage large and complex financial data.
Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to project management.
Excellent communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the industrial/manufacturing sectors.
A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating financial risks.
