Job Title: Manager FP&A (Vehicle Finance)
Department: Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Chennai - Tamarai Tech Park, Guindy
Role Overview
We are seeking a Qualified CA/CMA (Fresh or up to 2 years’ experience) to join our FP&A team. The role is focused on financial planning, portfolio performance tracking, and management reporting for the Vehicle Finance business.
The incumbent will collaborate closely with Business, Credit, Risk, and Operations teams to monitor performance metrics, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and analyze key performance metrics such as Disbursements, AUM, Growth, Yield, Spreads, and Portfolio Mix
- Monitor product-wise and branch-wise performance of the Vehicle Finance portfolio
- Assist in preparation of annual business plans, budgets, and rolling forecasts
- Perform variance analysis by comparing actual performance against budgets
- Analyze interest income, cost of funds, and portfolio profitability
- Evaluate trends in yields, spreads, and portfolio composition
- Track key portfolio parameters including:
- Ticket size
- Loan-to-Value (LTV)
- Tenure
- Geographic distribution
- Support monitoring of early delinquency indicators and portfolio quality metrics
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management presentations
- Support preparation of business review notes with actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and support analytics
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail with structured problem-solving ability
- Ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
Qualification & Experience
- CA / CMA (Fresh or up to 2 years’ experience)
- Exposure to Banking / NBFC / Vehicle Finance domain will be an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile (Hiring Focus)
We are prioritizing candidates with analytical exposure over pure statutory audit experience.
Preferred Background:
- Articleship experience in firms handling:
- NBFC / Banking audits
- Financial services clients
- Experience in:
- Vehicle Finance companies
- NBFCs / HFCs / Banks / Fintechs
- CA / CMA candidates with 1–2 years exposure in MIS, FP&A, or analytics roles
