- Protocol Validation: Execute end-to-end testing for wired and wireless projection (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth handshakes).
- Certification Preparation: Lead the pre-certification process using official tools like Apples ATS (Accessory Test System) and Googles PCTS (Projection Certification Test Suite) .
- Interoperability Testing: Validate performance across a massive matrix of mobile devices (iOS/Android), OS versions, and cable types.
- Performance Benchmarking: Measure and optimize latency, frame rates, and audio-video synchronization (lip-sync).
- Functional & UX Testing: Ensure steering wheel controls, voice assistants (Siri/Google Assistant), and touchscreens respond correctly according to Driver Distraction Guidelines .
- Defect Management: Perform deep-dive root cause analysis using bus sniffers and log analyzers. Collaborate with developers to fix middleware and HMI bugs.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts for regression testing of projection features.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automotive Engineering.
- Experience: 3+ years in Automotive Infotainment Testing with a specific focus on CarPlay and Android Auto.
- Analyzers: USB/Wireless sniffers (e.g., Beagle, Ellisys) and Wireshark.
- Certification: Hands-on experience with Apple ATS and Google QSuite/HUCD .
- Protocols: Deep understanding of IAP2, Bluetooth (HFP, A2DP), Wi-Fi (802.11ax), and TCP/IP.
