Role Overview:
The AWS SaaS SME will lead the design, integration, and operationalization of SaaS solutions on AWS Marketplace, supporting the CNS rApps as a Service (raaS) initiative. This role is responsible for architecting and implementing subscription, metering, and billing integrations, ensuring seamless onboarding, lifecycle management, and compliance with non-functional requirements. The SME will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure SaaS offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Marketplace Integration:
• Architect and implement SaaS integration services for AWS Marketplace, including subscription management, metering, and billing.
• Support multiple pricing models (usage-based, subscription, hybrid) and manage product listings.
• Integrate subscription lifecycle events (subscribe, unsubscribe, upgrades, renewals, modifications) with tenant onboarding workflows.
• Synchronize billing between AWS Marketplace and internal systems, including support for pro-rated billing, refunds, and free trials.
• Configure and manage Amazon SQS and SNS topics for entitlement and subscription events.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of integration services and coordinate product validation and publishing with AWS Marketplace Ops.
• Technical Leadership:
• Guide the development and testing of SaaS subscription product integrations, including customer validation, metering, and monitoring.
• Ensure secure and efficient onboarding of new customers, including token exchange and user creation.
• Oversee the implementation of BatchMeterUsage and ResolveCustomer API operations.
• Monitor customer activities using AWS CloudTrail and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Operational Enhancements:
• Support anomaly detection setup, monitoring, and alerting using AWS tools (e.g., CloudWatch).
• Enhance dashboards and log aggregation for improved observability and incident response.
• Lifecycle Management (LCM):
• Oversee bug fixing, vulnerability management, and performance improvements for Control Plane and Application Data Services (ADS).
• Prioritize and deliver work items as per agreed sprints/releases.
