Job Description:

Customer Interaction:

  • Respond to phone calls and emails from clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

Booking Coordinator:

  • Process booking order requests accurately with carriers, NVOCC’s. confirm bookings and follow up on required documents.
  • Review and check all order requests before processing.
  • Dealing with carriers, NVOCC for commercial procurement

Sales Support:

  • Assist in drafting quotes, following up on proposals, and maintaining positive business relationships with clients.
  • Provide ocean, Air freight rate quotations to customers and manage rate sheets.
  • Support the sales team in achieving targets by identifying sales opportunities and following up on leads.

Market Analysis:

  • Utilize market knowledge to identify sales opportunities.
  • Research and analyze competitive and industry trends.

Coordination:

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments

Administrative Tasks:

  • Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, quotation, and documentation.
  • Manage and build long-term relationships with carriers and other stakeholders

Job Requirements

Experience And Qualifications

  • Any Graduate degree.
  • Certifications related to logistics and freight forwarding can be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Freight forwarding industry
  • Strong communication skills, proficiency in sales management software, and the ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Knowledge of rate management processes and reading carrier rate sheets.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and IT systems used in logistics.
