India Hybrid: Noida

This is a hybrid role. This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from our office in Noida/Bengaluru (1 to 2 times/ week). Our office culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members, local and visiting, from other global offices.

The Opportunity

As an Applications Development Project Lead, you will lead engagement with various Business Unit (BU) stakeholders across TELUS to understand their business and need for insights. Influence how BU stakeholders approach business challenges and opportunities by driving the adoption of a data driven mindset.

• The Enterprise Data Engineering Meta Management team is on a continuous journey towards helping TELUS become a world-class leader in data solutions, doing so by delivering data analytics capabilities built upon unified scalable platforms, advanced AI tooling, high quality data, and a data-product and data platform oriented culture while always keeping an eye on the horizon, preparing for the next big thing.
• Join a dynamic team that is paving the way towards digital transformation and enable teams across the organization to make better use of data. Make use of your analytical skills and ability to analyze and assess the impact of data on upstream and downstream systems and help clarify and define cloud-related business processes and best practices across TELUS. Help architect the transformation and modernization of our enterprise data solutions and the integration of Google Cloud and native GCP services and 3rd party data technologies.
• What you’ll do: Lead engagement with various Business Unit (BU) stakeholders across TELUS to understand their business and need for insights.
• Influence how BU stakeholders approach business challenges and opportunities by driving the adoption of a data driven mindset.
• Act as the critical link to translate complex business problems into actionable data-centric challenges.
• Facilitate collaboration between BUs and our team, leading the entire product development process.
• This includes use-case development, defining insight products and their roadmaps, and overseeing end-to-end efforts for production deployment.
• Track and prioritize the development of data insight products on an ongoing basis, bring visibility to any roadblocks and help address them.
• Support development of our team’s strategy, drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Develop/present materials to TELUS business stakeholders and leadership Collaborate with Business unit stakeholders to measure and track product performance and EBITDA-based value contribution by the team.
• You bring 5 or more years of experience as a product owner or a product manager in an information technology capacity.
• You have a strong understanding of Product Management Framework, Agile and Scrum methodologies and processes and are able to leverage them as needed.
• You are recognized for addressing business needs, managing products through their entire life cycle including end of life, and understanding the financial impact of decision.
• You apply your innovative thinking and application of AI and other analytical techniques in the way you work.
• You are sought out for your skills in strategy development, problem-solving, structured thinking, advanced communication (verbal and written), project management.
• You are a master communicator capable of breaking down technical and complex concepts in a way that is understood by non-technical audiences.
• You are familiar with at least one of the cloud computing platforms - GCP, AWS, Azure.
• You are agile and have a bias for action, removing roadblocks to get results fast You have a passion for continuous process improvement.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
  

Bonus Points

• You are experienced in the data engineering field.
• You led complex data engineering projects.
• You have GCP or other cloud certification.
