Role Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern web and application solutions, contributing across both front-end and back-end layers. You will work with technologies such as React / React Native and JavaScript to build intuitive user interfaces, while also developing and enhancing server-side functionality using .NET. You will support the full application lifecycle from requirements analysis and implementation to deployment and maintenance. You will be responsible for implementing both functional and technical requirement, providing ongoing system maintenance, and delivering enhancements to in-house applications while collaborating closely with team members to address customer needs and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and maintain the React application.
• Design, develop and maintain functions by using .NET to fulfil the technical and functional requirements
• Interact with different IT teams within the company to ensure the system stability and to comply with IT architecture of the company
• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate the fulfilment of the technical specifications
• Debug and resolve issues reported by users or QA.
• Optimize application performance and ensure the application is responsive and user-friendly.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Key Competencies & Skills required

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of React concepts, state management, hooks, and component lifecycle. Proficient in ES6+ features, asynchronous programming, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Development experience with .NET 4.8 as minimum, preferred development experience with .NET Core
• Hands on experience with SQL Databases.
• Able to write jobs by using JCL (Job Control Language)
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• CI/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development.
• Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items
• Ability to adapt and develop interfaces
• Perform application support tasks like systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks
• Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly

Nice to have:

• Node.js: Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• TypeScript: Familiarity with static typing and TypeScript best practices.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Previous Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information technology
• Candidate with non-computer science degree must have minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• MBA in IT / Insurance/Finance can also apply for Requirements Engineer and Test Engineer role.

Certification if any:

• NA

Years Experience & Knowledge:

• 3 -5 years of C/S Development background in design, analysis, coding, and bug fixing
• COBIT / ITIL experience appreciated
• Process know-how of insurance systems
• Experience of working within multi-location teams
