We are looking for a highly skilled Data Operations Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages, experience with cloud data platforms, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
Roles and Responsibility
- Triage, investigate, and resolve escalated incidents related to data pipelines, platform performance, and data quality.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to reduce manual operational tasks and improve reliability.
- Manage and optimize monitoring, logging, and ing configurations for data platforms.
- Handle minor platform enhancements and bug fixes that do not require significant architectural changes.
- Collaborate with development pods to ensure smooth handoff of new features into production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, software development, or systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration and scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps principles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages, with Python being preferred.
