What You Will Do
As the Software Engineer you are responsible for the applications design, development, implementation and maintenance. The Software Engineer is expected to understand and familiar with Content Management System Platform framework, development and maintenance process.
The developer is expected to have a good knowledge and experience in Content Management System Platform and in a relevant technology or/and in a business solution/process, combined with good knowledge about AGILE methodology. Participate in maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test features according to the requirement, using appointed tools and technologies, keeping in mind quality, timeline.
- Coordinate and cooperate with multiple stakeholders including UI/UX designers ,AEM Backend Developers, Business Analysts, Architects, Solution leaders, and Delivery managers(DPO).
- Design, develop, collaborate, implement the development tasks/activities on a daily and regular basis to create an efficient work delivery
- Actively participate during requirement collection and system analysis phase along with agile team members
- Follow all coding/testing guidelines and best practices.
- Build, release and deploy on test environments.
- Branching and merging to version control systems like GIT.
- Support implementations/Rollouts of new features/issue fixes/enhancements in non-prod/Prod environments .
- Active participation and contribution to sprint ceremonies like planning, daily scrums, retrospective and review sessions
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative learning environment
- Stay updated with latest trends in AEM FE technologies
As Software Engineer you are a team player, self-driven, has a problem solving mindset. Since you are part of a global unit, with global responsibilities, you will need to actively cooperate and communicate with various stakeholders and navigate with ease in a multi-cultural environment.
Required Competency
- A relevant university degree at Bachelor or Master level
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility, with full proficiency in English
- Strong software development experience in front-end technologies such as React, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Node.js, Angular or Aurelia, Foundation, slick-carousel, motion-ui, and Webpack
- Familiarity with UI and UX design tools such as Figma
- Familiarity with cloud environments and container-based development, including Docker
- Solid performance as a Front-End or UI/UX Developer, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement
- Understanding of accessibility standards and performance optimization methods
- Good to have knowledge of AEM headless capabilities, core components, and authoring tools
- A collaborative working style, with strong analytical thinking and the ability to learn independently
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with practical use of tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
- 3-5 years of experience in front-end development; familiarity with Adobe technologies and AEM is an advantage
- Introductory understanding and strong willingness to explore new areas such as AI and other evolving technologies that support future platform growth
- Basic awareness of the Scrum Master role is considered a plus
- Adobe Experience Manager certification is an advantage
