Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including invoice review and entry/review.
- Work on MIS preparation and reporting.
- Ensure accurate calculation, filing, and compliance related to GST, TDS, Advance Tax.
- Handle GST and Income Tax notices, including drafting replies and coordinating with tax authorities.
- Manage vendor-related activities including:
- Vendor master data updates
- Balance confirmations
- Pending invoice follow-ups
- Vendor query handling
- Prepare and review reconciliations (bank, vendor, customer, etc.).
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and coordinating with auditors.
- Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, vendors, and auditors as required.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Graduate with 2-8 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS & statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Tally & Excel
- Good communication and coordination skills
