Key Responsibilities

Mortgage Operations

• Review mortgage applications, borrower profiles, income calculations, credit assessments, assets, and employment verification.
• Analyze collateral including valuation reports, insurance documents, and Letters of Undertaking.
• Calculate or recalculate borrower income, DTI (Debt-to-Income), LTV (Loan-to-Value), bank statements, and large deposits.
• Ensure compliance with UK/US mortgage lending policies from originations to servicing.
• Maintain accurate mortgage documentation and coordinate with internal teams.

Payments & Banking Operations

• Execute MT103 and MT202 transfers, and manage MT191, invoices, and related charges.
• Handle CHAPS and BACS payments, FX charges, and customer concessions.
• Ensure proper routing through intermediary banks.
• Develop and maintain reports and spreadsheets to improve reconciliation processes.

Account Opening & Asset Finance

• Support retail banking account opening processes for current and savings accounts.
• Participate in day-to-day asset finance operations as required.
• Review and verify mortgage-related documentation.

General Banking Operations

• Support end-to-end international and retail banking operations including ATM, bereavements, and reconciliations.
