Role & responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare journal entries, vouchers, and ledger postings
- Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions
2. Taxation, GST & TDS Compliance
- Handle GST calculations, filings, and reconciliations
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and input tax credit reconciliation
- Deduct and deposit TDS as per applicable laws
- Prepare and file TDS returns within deadlines
- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for assessments and audits
Key Skills Required
- Knowledge of Accounting Principles
- GST & TDS compliance expertise
- Ledger and bank reconciliation skills
- Financial reporting and MIS preparation
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP, Excel, or accounting software
