Position Overview
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s core accounting operations and financial reporting processes. This position is well-suited for candidates looking to build on a strong accounting foundation and gain exposure to a sophisticated, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights to leadership
- Assist with external audit requests and documentation
- Help drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
- Partner cross-functionally with operations and finance teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
- 2+ years of accounting experience required
- Public accounting experience (audit) is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, high-performance environment
